I'm not exactly sure that this goes here, but oh well. This is a poem very different from the other ones I have written. Well, the title explains it all. I was browsing about the Internet and stumbled across a site that had Elvish and their translations on it. After reading through, I wrote a poem with the narrow amounts of words and phrases that I was given.

The English is first followed by the Elvish

And in case you people don't know. The Elvish Language was made up by the Great J.R.R Tolkien, writer of The Hobbit, The Lord of The Rings and a few other things.

No, I found some site years and years ago that had Elvish phrases. And I pieced them together. I really can't believe that people are still coming across this! I forget about this thing.

I like it. Despite the fact that it is the Grey Company's "Grelvish," I still like it.

It's loosely based on Sindarin.

And, no offense intended to the author but I'm not sure how much credit you can really be given for this as each line is merely taken directly from the Grey Company's phrasebook. Word for word.

None taken on the offense line. This was put up in mid-2005 if you look at the date though. and it had been sitting on my old computer for much much longer than that.

how in the heck did you find this thing?
